SMS Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to Kaigo Operational Call Alerts, an optional text-message program for authorized agency administrators.

Last updated July 27, 2026

1. Program description

Kaigo Operational Call Alerts notify a participating agency's designated administrator when an eligible call to the agency has been completed and needs review. Messages may identify Kaigo and the agency, provide a brief non-sensitive call classification or urgency indicator, and include a secure link to the authenticated Kaigo call entry.

The SMS alert itself is designed not to include transcripts, care details, medical information, locations, or other sensitive call content. The linked entry requires an authorized Kaigo account.

2. Eligibility and consent

The program is intended for adults who are authorized to manage an agency's Kaigo settings and control the mobile number they enroll. By entering a number, checking the SMS consent box, requesting a test text, and confirming receipt, you consent to receive recurring operational call alerts from Kaigo at that number.

Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing Kaigo services. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the enrolled number and are authorized to provide consent. If the number changes ownership or you no longer control it, disable alerts or contact Kaigo promptly.

3. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on the number of eligible calls received by the agency and administrative test messages requested. Kaigo does not guarantee a particular number of messages.

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. Your carrier's terms also apply. Kaigo does not charge a separate fee for receiving an individual text, although access to the feature may be included in a paid Kaigo service.

4. Opting out and resubscribing

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We also recognize STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. After opting out, you should receive a confirmation and no further program messages will be sent unless you resubscribe.

Reply START to resubscribe, or complete the alert setup again where available. You may also disable text alerts from Kaigo Settings.

5. Help

Reply HELP for help. You may also email staff@joinkaigo.com or visit our contact page.

6. Delivery and availability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability, network conditions, device compatibility, account status, and other factors outside Kaigo's control. Kaigo may suspend or terminate the program, a destination, or particular messages to protect users, comply with law or carrier rules, or address suspected abuse.

Text alerts are supplemental. Agencies remain responsible for monitoring their operations and should not rely on SMS as the sole method for emergencies or time-sensitive care.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We may share information with messaging providers, telecommunications carriers, and other service providers as necessary to operate the program.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the program, carrier requirements, or applicable law. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to participate after an update means the updated terms apply, except where additional consent is required by law.
